Inspire - multimedia workshops

Creative expression is a very powerful and effective way to explore issues relating to mental health

InSpire is a series of 3 highly creative, fun, interactive workshops designed to teach artists and non-artists alike how to create imaginative multimedia works around the theme of mental health. You can use film, music, art work, storytelling, dance and human movement, poetry or a combination of any or all of them.

The workshops are designed for novices. You just need to be prepared to 'give it a go'. If you have a phone, you can be a film maker.

Watch an example of a short film.

Anyone can do it.... Write down some thoughts, choose a song, choose some images and you will be taught how to pull it all together. That's all it takes.

You will be guided and mentored through the steps required to plan, develop and present your work during the 3 workshops with the help and encouragement of the facilitator and your fellow participants.

Participants will have the option to present their work at a show at the Redland Performing Arts Centre scheduled for Saturday 28 October 2017.

It is about tapping into your creativity and imagination
